Who we are & what we do
Katie Elmore has played fiddle for over 20 years and earned several titles to her name at fiddle contests along the way. She enjoys teaching fiddle and serves as the President of the Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association.
Ryan Elmore is a multi-instrumentalist, mainly playing guitar in our duo. He's earned titles on guitar at various fiddle contests, including the Colorado State Championship in 2025. Ryan teaches guitar, piano and drums.
Live Performances
We're a versatile duo - happy to play fully instrumental or with vocals, main stage or background music, indoors or outdoors, acoustic or amplified.
Private Lessons
Offering fiddle, guitar, piano and drum lessons in any style to students of all ages. Each student receives their own personalized curriculum that revolves around their goals and needs.

Exploring the roots of Texas Style fiddle music we both grew up on, The Lowly Faluters have evolved out of a unique blend of Swing, Celtic and Texas Styles.

GOSPEL at Granbury Opera House
April 3rd and 4th at 7:30pm, Katie & Ryan will be in the band playing fiddle and guitar. GOSPEL is presented by the Granbury Theatre Company at the Granbury Opera House.
Elmore Fiddle Camp
July 13th-17th, Elmore Fiddle Camp is held in Glen Rose, TX. 20 years after attending for the first time as a student, Katie's coming back as a teacher. Register to join her 3 after-hours classes and the rest of the fun at camp!
Fiddlers Frolics - Contest & Jams
April 24-26th, the Texas State Championship Fiddlers Contest is held in Hallettsville, TX. Following the Junior Live Oak Fiddle & Guitar Workshop, we'll be in on the jams and contest portion of the weekend, come join!
